We want the next UK Government to recognise that community pharmacy is a solution to many longstanding problems in the NHS. We want to ensure that the next Government commits to greater investment and support for community pharmacy in order to unlock the sector’s tremendous potential.

	The NPA is the representative body of over 6,500 independent community pharmacies across the UK. The majority of our members are family owned, small to medium sized businesses. Independent pharmacies are a local lifeline and essential to the health and wellbeing of the nation. They are characterised by strong relationships with patients and the communities they serve. 	The PSNC promotes and supports the interests of all NHS community pharmacies in England. We are recognised by the Secretary of State for Health as the body that represents NHS pharmacy contractors. 	The Royal Pharmaceutical Society is the professional body for pharmacists in Great Britain; the only body that represents all pharmacy sectors. We lead and support the development of the pharmacy profession including the advancement of science, practice, education and knowledge in pharmacy. We promote pharmacy in the media and government by engaging with a range of stakeholders and other pharmacy organisations, emphasising the positive impact of pharmacists across healthcare.
